Re: USA: Early M4 hulls with L40 gun?
The breech is on the rear end of the cannon. Its front and rear are the same as for a cannon, generally, I would have thought.
These definitions from a 1922 Gunner's instruction manual seem to...

Re: USA: Early M4 hulls with L40 gun?
So it sounds like, unless anyone has any information to the contrary, there did not exist two distinct 75mm guns for the Medium Tank M4. 75mm/L37 and 75mm/L40 were simply two different ways of...

Re: More Sorting Fun: Gun Tanks, Cruiser Tanks, and Infantry Tanks
That's just the thing, though. It doesn't put all the generic tank-like types together. Several groups of them are way off, pages away. But if it isn't a Mobhack field which designates them, then...

Re: USA: Early M4 hulls with L40 gun?
Oh, but back to the actual question of the thread:
Cross, do you think you can confirm that there was only one actual version of the 75mm M3 gun, and that the alleged two lengths were just...

Re: USA: Early M4 hulls with L40 gun?
There were some welded (M4A2) and cast (M4A1) hulls with dry stowage and large hatches (in the M4A2's), if these sources are accurate:

Re: More Sorting Fun: Gun Tanks, Cruiser Tanks, and Infantry Tanks
That is a good idea, though, so long as the current date sorting is preserved (and fixed, of course).

Re: More Sorting Fun: Gun Tanks, Cruiser Tanks, and Infantry Tanks
Actually, I started a separate thread here because this doesn't have anything to do with date order.
My issue was that none of the sort functions would put all the tanks in one place. All of them...

Re: More Sorting Fun: Gun Tanks, Cruiser Tanks, and Infantry Tanks
As I said, the problem occurs when sorting either by unit class or unit type - some tanks are way off by themselves, pages away from all the other tanks.

More Sorting Fun: Gun Tanks, Cruiser Tanks, and Infantry Tanks
I was noticing (For the USA at least) that sorting by Unit Type or Unit Class puts Gun Tanks, Cruiser Tanks, and Infantry Tanks many pages away from all the other tanks.
Wouldn't it be better if...

Re: USA: Early M4 hulls with L40 gun?
Want that extra point of accuracy dangit! Heh.
Looks like The M4A3E2 (76) #022 and #186 are duplicates, so maybe one of those can become the M4 L40?

USA: Early M4 hulls with L40 gun?
There does not seem to be any unit to cover the early M4 (welded hull) equipped with the L40 gun. As far as I can tell, all early M4's seem to be equipped with the L37 gun. The only M4 variants in...

USA Bazooka Team
There seems to be two different units for the USA called "Bazooka Team" - 062 and 171. I can't find any difference between them besides the picture and the date available.
Am I missing something?

Re: Sort by date avail - is it working?
Ah, since it is an error, then I should point out that the it's not just the engineer squads that are out-of-order for that sort with the USA. Other examples include, on page 3, the two Snipers, the...

Any way to change the length of a Long Campaign?
Once a Long Campaign is started, is there any way to change the length? I'm about 10 missions in and I don't want to start over, but I can see that I've put in too many missions; the clock just isn't...
