Hey Slynky, sorry for the lack of turns the Last few days. Work and after-work has had me pretty tied up and now I will be out of town until Sunday. Normal service should resume Monday.

Yes, you are correct. I was referring to Greenwich loacl time rather than GMT itself. The point that I was trying to make, and that still holds, is that the UK does follow daylight savings time,...

It does too. Just a week out of step with the US. PST is currently GMT-8.

I will admit to being biased here but I would argue that the photo does not sum up the entire situation. The keeper was out of position after the initial header hit the bar. Terry stood his ground...

Yep, that's about what happened, so they have every right to be disappointed/angry/whatever but there is no justification whatsoever in questioning the integrity of the Dane and Swedish teams.

I didn't think it was an awful penalty at the time. Barthez guessed right and saved well. When I saw Zindines though I realized how average Beckham's was. I'd have Lampard or Rooney take penalties...
