You will have to make a poly of each ship/formation that is added. Each ship/formation poly would then have to be skinned, components slots added, ect. It would take some work, but it is a great idea.

Hmmm, aren't LRS standard on all Terran ships? Because shielded cargo bays do not work against LRS.

Restart the game on the hardest difficulty. Go through one of the warp points. Then try not to die. Also there is a command to set game to eight times normal speed. Hit esc then click on controls.
