Oh...wow... look at that...an option that says 'Next/Previous button should skip ships in fleets'.... if it was a klingon it would have bit me.. Go figure... now it ignores fleets... which is no big...

One part of the game that takes away from my awesome 'gaming experience' comes when I want to go through any idle ships and give them new orders....
