Thanks all for the help. For no apparent reason it simply started working this morning. He just send in the file and things are looking bright!

He is running an unmodded Version 1.60 on both of his PCs, installed from the same CD. At his workplace he can't load the game and at home he can...

Thanks for the reply. We've tried about everything. I sent the file several times and we even copied it from a different pc. I even send the file as a .zip just to make sure. Nothing worked.

We're playing a six player PBEM game of SEIV Gold 1.60. Everything runs fine, just one player is unable to load the game file. The filename comes up, but when he tries to load it, he is not...
