I have to admit, I was impressed the first time I went through a worm hole into an AI controlled system and had 7 of my ships taken out by a mine field. Didn't know the AI used mines!! Good job!

Sounds interesting, but I don't like the having defense and attck values instead of unique atrributes for armor, shields, weapons and such. I think I'll just break down and get the Gold SE IV instead...

Definitely ships larger than 1 square. I want baseships that look like the Deathstar compared to fighters.

Damn, I thought Space Empires: Starfury was SEV. My mistake. In the meanwhile, the TDM mod is a fantastic add-on. Looks like I'll be splurging for the gold Version eventually though.

Wow, I just read up on the Proportions mod. It looks like they've really done a ton of work balancing it out and tweaking. Hmmmm.... maybe I'll re-think going Gold. I kind of hate to with SEV...

I'm yet another of the disgruntled MOO 3 buyers who just started SEIV. Excellent game, especially compared to MOO 3. Odd thing is I've had SEIV in a drawer for months and only just started playing...
