Reverse communions are so effective because once the master buffs himself, all the slaves have the same buff, but the slaves *do not* get the communion bonus to spell paths.

If the scales are cold-3 and you have heat-3 units there, they're going to fatigue out pretty quickly. This is a good thing for you (of course)

Oh, and once you've gotten the basics down, If you like the mordor feel, I reccomend LA Ermor just to try out. It shows how varied and different each nation can be. You don't have to play this game...

The Romans were tolerant of *old* religions, in which they practiced Syncretism. Christianity really had problems once the Jewish nation convinced the authorities that Christianity wasn't a "Jewish"...

The easiest nation I learned on was Niefelheim. They're great with a Earth-9 Water-9 or Earth-9 Nature-9 or, my favorite, Earth-9 Water-6 Nature-6. They go into battle and their cold-aura just...

No mods are really needed, but no, there isn't anything that increases the graphics. The manual's guide for most nations is a decent build, but usually not amazing, so you can always try that out....

You could also mod wish to alteration 0 and to cost 1 gem. That is pretty much a cheat code, as you can wish for gems, blood slaves, gold, dominion, or specific units you may want to toy around with.

When this thread was alive the first time (not resurrected) there was a thread made mocking it called something like "Bagpipes vs. Oboes" or something. I'm pretty sure everyone agreed that Bagpipes...
