I'm looking at a SC in one multiplayer game that has a protection of 27 and a MR of 26 thanks to an anti-magic amulet and heroic iron will, and breath of winter just in case I manage to surround him....

I had a surprising thing happen in a recent game - I had ordered a mage with Level 3 in a path to cast a level 3 battlef ield spell (which requires a magic gem) at the beginning of his combat orders....
