The file d3d9d.dll is being reported as a debug version. I've attached the dxdiag file.

I've attached a partial screenshot of the results. It looks to me like it will support up to 1680x1050 (if I'm reading things correctly).

The taskbar (on both machines) is in the "unlocked" but fixed position on the bottom of the display. Both machines have the same version of DirectX (4.09.0000.0904) and oddly enough the laptop has...

Apple flat screen 20" display--computer is a desktop. I also have a laptop with a 15" (res: 1920x1200) on which the game will play just fine.

After some further testing, I've found I can run the game at any resolution in windowed mode, but only 1024x768 or lower in full screen mode (it doesn't matter which mode--DirectX or GDI--the results...

I'm in the process of converting the manual to a pdf format (with letter-sized width). Since my doing this is primarily for my own use and I'm in the US, I'm doing some converting to American English...
