Yeh, You are right but.... In the end we could be pedants one and all and take into account all sorts of variables from Barrel wear to what socks the gunner put on... Its a game and pretty good at...

I agree with the comments wrt the penetrator L/D's but to take only those into account would be a similar issue to taking only Barrel length... both are a factor as is manufacture
