The PD fell as everyone is inside the fort, so the whole affair did hit me as odd, but you never know in these MP games.

Agreed. I'm guilty of waiting too long at times myself, but certain nations I really like to make a big expensive commander as my prophet. This is both for survivability and of course the cost issue....

I DLed the kingmaker zip, but when I extracted it, it reports as file type "file", rather than MAP, TGA, or SLI files like all my others.
