I've also noticed after converting the MP3s in WinSPMBT over that the .wma files are almost all smaller than the MP3s. Especially the battle sounds files.

Both my WinSPMBT and WinSPWW2 had been running just fine until today. I guess I installed something else that didn't go well with it. No codecs packs either. Anyway, I tried installing Media Player...

I know exactly what causes this problem as it happened to me.
I had 3rd party media player codecs installed. I simply uninstalled the codec pack and it works great. The same goes for WinSPMBT.
