Ok thanks for that - what i see on my weapons mount screen is "normal mount" (standard size weapon mount) only. My game is unmodded - patched to deluxe ver. I have researched up to carrier sized...

Hi guys, can anyone explain for me how weapon mounts work on ships, and how they are aquired, i know they improve weapon damage and range but how do you actually get them, any help here would be...
