Sorry, I was trying to solve the problem of why my .trn file wouldn't work when I didn't have Heroes 1_7 installed.

And if it doesn't effect pretenders, when why would my game insist on it being...

I think you might've gotten confused.

Without the Heroes mod installed, the turn won't start.

With it installed, but not turned on, the turn will start and turn the mod on without asking...

Well, as I've not installed any mods (that I know of -- when I check Mod Preferences, all I've got is an Exit Button), I was going to ask where to go to get these mods....
