Due to the lack of upkeep cost
Also works well for some death nations using twiceborn, if somewhat more expensively and complicatedly.

I feel like this could be used by some nations without a ton of astral pearls incoming for a lategame, or midgame gambit, round of wishing for the apocalypse. Especially doable and useful for Pangea...
