there is a remake of the original Yamato serie is called Yamato2199 it is really well done I guess anyone is interested to make a mod of it

supremacy of bolts over beams ...

is it just my feeling or bolts tend to be much more deadlier than beams against ships ?
against fighters I still believe beams are better cause fighters usually evade bolts fire but not point...

well ... if you take a look at summaries at the end of the page they are not usually...

honestly I bought the game only to play star blazers mod because it is the only PC game around to play star blazers

I have a question ...
looking at the main components.txt
it seems that gamma pulse torpedo as well as other torpedos should decrease in damage efficiency with the distance...
