Well, I tried that against the AI and I found that losses were very high when using them singly. The best compromise appears to be to use them in pairs, which can take out most reasonable PD plus the...

Re: Tarrax - Newbie Game (running) - EA 4-8 players on tiny/small random map

Well,I think we might as well call it a day and declare sansanjuan the winner. Unless either of you wants to draw it to the bitter end?

He's right. Mictlan needs a sub. Perhaos even Kref or Tarrax. Going against a blood nation (eventually) will be very very nasty...

Re: Tarrax - Newbie Game (running) - EA 4-8 players on tiny/small random map

Yeah, that's probably what it was: a misunderstanding on which turn I wanted delayed :(

Re: Tarrax - Newbie Game (running) - EA 4-8 players on tiny/small random map

I've just sent my turn 47. However, I will be away this week-end and beginning of next week. Would it be possible to delay hosting for turn 48 until Tuesday night, please?

Thanks,

Re: Tarrax - Newbie Game (running) - EA 4-8 players on tiny/small random map

I'm quite all right with 24 hours for now, however I would like to request a small delay: I've just sent my turn #13, but I won't be home on Sunday, so I may be late for next turn (depending on what...

Re: Tarrax - Newbie Game (running) - EA 4-8 players on tiny/small random map

I also got that message and it seems that someone took Pelthins place. If that's the case then I think we should consider to restart the game if he still wants to play.[/QUOTE]

I agree.

Re: Pantheons - an experiment in metagaming.

The problem with that is that it's not really different from a team game since you don't have much choice for who you can ally with. OTOH, you could do the reverse: at most one god of Fire, one god...

Re: Noobiewars. Game for noobs [started]

I have no problem with 24h hosting, but I do have problems with 4h hosting, which is all the notice we got for last turn . If we had been on a regular 24h deadline, I would have gotten my...

Re: Noobiewars. Game for noobs [started]

I've just submitted my turn 10, but I won't be able to submit turn 11 on time. Would it be possible to delay hosting of turn 11 by a couple of hours please? Say until 21:00 GMT on Friday.

Thank...

Re: Noobiewars. Game for noobs [started]

Since he now has staled for 4 turns in a row, I think that yes we should change him to AI. There's a howto on the game admin page explaining the procedure.

Re: Noobiewars. Game for noobs - recruiting

I'd rather stay at 24h turns from the start. I may not have the time to go faster during work days. Anyway, if you enable the quickhost mode, the turns will proceed as soon as everyone has submitted...
