I think luck is seriously screwed. In all the games I take turmoil/luck, I get hit by way more bad events than good.
If you go turmoil 3, and other people go order 3, that's already 40% difference...

I do not really think so in this game. There are 12 placement clusters, other than R'lyeh, each cluster is only 2 or 3 provinces. Everyone is guaranteed some plains and some forest/mountain next to...

It looks like you took turmoil 3, which reduce income by 21%, as opposed to most people who took order 3.

True. Out of 44 sea provinces, 10 are not connected to main water body, and since EA Oceania is not in play (it can simply crush all other water nations easily and early), I would guess adding 2...

Graph off just benefits the strongest player, and leads to runaway victory every time. We do not need R'lyeh to mass 80 provinces by turn 24 without people knowing it. ;)

I guess since there is a "AI do not cast" spell list, it is logical to have "AI do not overide" list. And if you really like unpredictability, I suppose we can have troops randomly ignore orders...
