Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running

The vast might of Oceania enters the fray! Will anyone take the chance to get their feet wet before the sole remaining aquatic becomes too powerful? Tien Chi's gem stockpile must pale into comparison...

Re: How to fight EA Abysia?

EA Abysia doesn't have a lot of blood - very wimpy warlocks (S1B2) who are cap only and have old age. Competing against the Anointed of Rhuax I tend to get enough of them only for searching astral...

Re: How to fight EA Abysia?

yep leech is a killer against Burning Ones :( thanks executor for teaching me that lesson. You really want to be killing them with magic or ranged attacks wherever possible, up close they are lethal....

Re: Sol - CBM EA Game on Llamaserver: Running

This is just my opinion, but given that this game is moving nowhere and that Starshine is quitting, I vote we end it and declare Executor winner.. I was really happy to fight it out, very interesting...

Re: MilkShake - Vanilla; Multi-Age; Catan Rules; Mulligan(1) - Closed

Good job keeping the pace up for 30 turns everyone, it has really been fun

As an aside, what are everyone's thoughts on the mulligan system so far? Does it sway people from springing surprises...

Re: Legends of Faerun - Closed (Game started)

Tir's castle is about to be stormed and we have set ourselves AI. Start position (103) is fairly untenable and a quick troglodyte rush from agartha has blitzed the capital.

Edi has said he's...

Re: How to fight EA Abysia?

In a current MP game as EA Abysia I recently fought Sauro and androphags, and they were very troublesome, and that was against my E9W9 burning ones, who didn't feel much of the normal damage and...

Re: How to fight EA Abysia?

Androphags, shadow blast, nether darts, skelly spam to delay and fatigue them. Rain is definitely worthwhile

Re: CarCrash - EA Game - CBM - (Running)

Exactly how do you 'accidentally' attack a province with another nation's (to which you have a NAP) flag on it??

And how do you construe armies directly next to my capital as signs of aggression???

Re: Gem Income?

A lot of players will have large numbers of gem producing items by late game, especially clams for astral. And some MP games use high magic site settings.

There are some magic sites that let you...

Re: Starting w/High Dominion vs. Using Temples

That is possibly true if you are going to push in a general sense, relying on natural flow of candles into enemy lands. If you are doing so you want to be preaching in your own lands to maximise the...

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

I saw the same battle as you, I have no idea what happened. I'm amazed how many times (in the battle we saw at least) your queen recovered from being down to single digit hit points! even once blinded

Re: Starting w/High Dominion vs. Using Temples

I'm pretty sure that the actual temple checks are based on your starting dominion? I think the increased dominion only applies to max candles per province and the max number of sacreds you can...

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

I have no idea, haven't had a chance to look at my turn yet - will still be another 10 hours or so I'm afraid. I'll let you know then

I have to say I'm very nervous! didn't think your queen would...

Re: MA Abysia - Devilicious

You'd have to be very lucky with astral income to be able to shroud all of your diseased mages.. If you are able to expand very quickly it might work, especially in a small game.

Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running

i prefer 27 hrs with the odd extension. This game is still early enough that turns shouldn't take too long
