Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

yeah, the issue was that jazzepi sent it 3 minutes or something before host, but the power of the interwebs defeated it from arriving in time...

I think it's best just to continue. Hopefully...

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

I don't believe you are being steamrollered?? please correct me if I am wrong.

I missed hosting by 20 minutes on Saturday - it sounds like that caused me greater damage than this one for you, as...

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

the problem with that is that it allows an altered turn to be sent, as opposed to the "rush turn" that was sent in and time-stamped. As a general matter of proper procedures I'd have a problem with...

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

3 ok w/ it, 2 more opposed. Generally, I agree there shouldn't be rehosts; but the situation is borderline, and I'm guessing the email timestamp is before hosting. Nevertheless, while it is a bad...

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

I think we'll probably re-host then, unless someone else speaks up. All in all, given the situation, it's ok.

however, if no one tells me exactly what I am supposed to do, I won't bother :)

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

well, i haven't looked at what is most likely an uninteresting turn, so it's no skin off my back.

do i email llama about the issue, or can it be done through the admin panel?

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

I staled on saturday, but I would be ok w/ a rehost if that were the general will. I believe you are in a war, and that always makes turns more difficult.

I generally check the thread fairly...

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

Re: Madness - 24 players, MA+LA, CBM 1.4 (running)

I vote for a draw, but I know some people are having fun (reay and wokeye are having a nice little war i believe). Taking out AI midgard will still be more of a chore than taking out AI caelum;...

not sure on the formulae, but neither seems especially effective. It would be nice if Wish were modable :)

Re: Madness - 24 players, MA+LA, CBM 1.4 (running)

everyone except arcos had their turns in on time (maybe LA pyth was a few minutes late, but only because he could) ... i was a bit peeved as I had been hurrying to get the turn done :p

Re: Legends of Faerun - Closed (Game started)

yes, but you're Tir Na n'Og - those VP sites will melt before the awesomeness of your bare-chested warriors!1

that completely sucks though, and likely means you can't have much hope. I once...

Re: Wild Red - MA game (in progress)

delaying for 12 hrs, as last week's food poisoning left me weak enough to pick up some bug... good times, good times. I'm pretty sure it's not the flying pig flu though :)

Re: Counter against Agartha's Marble Oracles?

as I recall, elfbane had a bug whereby the normal attack did not occur against magic beings. I'd go with a smasher, or a moonblade. massed nether darts would also be fun.

as they are size 4, any...

Re: Cripple Fight! - And the Lame shall inherit the earth!

this is a most amusing game concept, at least. Also, I think certainly it should count for nation wins... really there's not that big a difference with a normal game.

although it is amusing that...

Re: Madness - 24 players, MA+LA, CBM 1.4 (running)

otoh, if me and la pyth were to go AI, it might create an entertaining gold rush for all of the rest of you :)

- at least somewhat balance out just having caelum doing it.

Re: Madness - 24 players, MA+LA, CBM 1.4 (running)

MA Caelum did go AI, further making this game a pile of s***. I vote for starting a new game - I know, when I had been down to 8 troops and managed to finally have my crippled nation to break siege,...

Re: Asia Twist - PBEM

Perhaps the benighted pyth, in the future, might meditate on the value of quality hats.

*'future' being used in the purely rhetorical sense.
