Re: "Enjoy the War."

I've played quite a bit with IJA. I usually run an infantry battalion as my core force. Depending on the type of mission, I'll get to spend support points on Armor, Engineers and Recce if it's an...

Re: OpFire?

The current iteration of the game allows op-fire even when the unit has used up all its shots in its own movement phase.

However, op-fire is still dependent on the experience and morale of the...

Re: WinSPWW2 version 6.0 Upgrade patch

Observation:

Not sure if this was all along part of the game, but I realised that the delay for gold spots (Pre-targeted points) changes with the timeline. Started a campaign in '31 and the delay...

Re: The final push towards Berlin 1944-45!

Oh yeah, that's a good point. How big a map are you playing? And how many turns?

I see that you have about a regiment or brigade sized force. I usually play only a battalion's (2,000pts) worth and...

Re: The final push towards Berlin 1944-45!

Why are the attached images so small? I can't really see the details, other than the big arrows.

Re: Japanese Long Campaign

Thought I'll add a screenshot of A Coy's positions at the end of the battle.

This experience is going to heavily influence my planning in my upcoming Defend mission against the Russians.

For assault to occur, your infantry needs to be in READY status, rather than PINNED.

Whether you succeed or fail, your infantry will end up taking some suppression. However, even if you fail, the...
