Short of adding a Racial Trait - is there a Q&D (quick & dirty) way to make a component/tech/what-ever specific only to your empire?...

Using new Modder - I found a glitch. If you look at modded components whose picture number is greater than 273, when you switch back to a component whose picture number is less - the pictures do not...

If you're allied with an alien race - say Partners - I see no problem with colonizing a non-race-specific planet within the others system if permission is granted to do so. I suppose...

Use WinRAR and split the file into multiple files as done on NG's. The user would then DL the RAR's and reconstruct the file in WinRAR. BTW - if you do this use SmartPAR to construct a few PAR files...
