Actually, I HAD the gold conVersion, and then the new datasets messed something up (the picture files no longer read correctly - I done Somethin' Wrong:)).

Have completed 3 games to 200 turns with the Gold mods.
As the Minbari, I was pretty much on the way to victory in 200 turns. The Ai doesn't seem to get population to the outlying planets fast...

PF: Thanks, That's a decision I can live with.
The only other WP we saw was on Mars in the "Endgame" ep, and that was pretty clearly fighting only in the atmosphere.

Was it intentional that only PD weapons could go on weapons platforms? That's the way the current components file seems to read.

Timstone - I don't know of any. Can you create the weapons in the HTML component editer, save them, and then paste them into the components file? If so, is that really any easier?

Okay, I went ahead and modified v.33 to gold. It appears to work, as long as you don't add any random races (I don't have all the AIs tweaked yet for the other races - still looking at the job done...
