Week 1 - Weapon familiarization, how to use the sights, how to get into the firing positions (offhand, kneeling, sitting. prone).
Week 2 - Live fire for 4 days then qualification...

Yes, totally non important to the game.
However most higher officers decide what side arm they prefer,and snub military protocal.
Take for instance Patton's ivory grip Colt six shooters:)

I know Arty and infrantry types load as expected.
To be truthfull,i can't even recall reloading a tank,in most cases they have plenty of AP ammo to last most battles,unless it's an IS-II which...

The AI has it's own picklist you can't predict what it will pick,within force pt value,thats the game ,if it was easy no one would like it. What do you want? the AI dumb down more than it already...

Why not just walk your infrantry units,that way get the nasties (AT units) before they do in your AFV's?
It's the best way unless you are in a rush,in this game you should never hurry:)

Infantry riding tanks works fine till the tanks receive fire, then the infantry gets hit hard as they have no cover at all. Don't place infantry on the lead tank, when it's fired on the rest know it...
