Soon German armored cars appeared in the center and some PzKw-38b(t) on the North road.
ATGs and tanks went into fight.

Enemy was not able to push our forces from the central and south objectives. After enemy attacks lost momentum we had taken the last north objective....

2000 German tank conterattack from all directions. Heavy fighting. Trying to use heavy artillery to suppress German, without much success.

1800. We hit the main line of the German defence. Two Pz 38(t) destroyed, but two T-34 lost. One was lost by sheer stupidity. The commander thought Pz-38(t) will not be able to penetrate T-34 armor...

Don't you feel little short of infantry ? Only one inf company for 2.5 panzer companies ? Do you have any problems with enemy infantry AT weapon ?

Don't worry about buying KV and T-34 in 1941 - it's completly historical. They were staple of tank brigades in 1941.

In attack/advance I just send forward cavalry screen to draw enemy fire and detect enemy presence. After that I dismount infantry from tanks/trucks and move it forward to do actual spotting. Of cause...

However AI tanks sitting and doing nothing while in defence is quite common problem. I guess AI tank platoons actions are triggered by capturing specific victory hexes. IMHO It would be a good idea...

Nop, seems they not exploding. So if AI waste points on it, that mean AI more weak with this option, correct ?

I have mines turned off in the preferences, but long campaign AI still deploy them.

Hmm, in no way were they destroyed piecemeal. Attacks of heavy tank regiments were not exceptional. The problem was they attacked without infantry and artillery support, and without paying attention...

Actually they weren't so rare in the first month of the Barbarossa. SU had around 1800 of T-34 and KV before the war (and 23 thousands of other tanks, in the different degree of repair) against 3300...

Seems Merkava to be discontinued. Production of new vehicles may be stopped, only heavy APC on Merkava chassis (Namer) will be produced. Decision was based on the Lebanon war results.
