I like a slow but steady approach. When you expand too quickly, you also collapse quickly, especially if you start near another player.

I know this is "High Level", but I tell people to make a "Gate Stone" and combine it with a "Chalice" and therefore, the healing power of The Chalice, is felt WHEREVER it is needed.

Unfortunately, most of Ermor's useful troups are undead, but NOT lifeless, and therefore will be afflicted by Burden of Time. The Gift of Health with remove afflictions, and if you create The Chalice...

I run Dom3 under both Mandriva 2007 and Ubuntu 7.04 ("Fiesty Fawn"). It works perfectly.
