Re: Land Rand - Jotunheim Wins!

To my knowledge, Rand games have always been dominated by nations with recruitable SCs / strong bless. Those are the nations that usually require lesser nations to band together to fight. That...

I'd be up for it with the caveat I may need a delay here and there.

Re: Luck/Turmoil versus Nothing.

Death is pretty brutal all around. I tried Death/Luck/Turmoil with Pan and got scourged with plagues. A couple in the capital pretty much offset most gains from the random income events (not to...

Re: Luck/Turmoil versus Nothing.

To be clear, the scale of Luck I mentioned above was with Order and Magic scales (not just 1 Luck and all else neutral...)

Re: Luck/Turmoil versus Nothing.

I really developed a deep-seeded hatred for Luck in the last Rand game. I took a scale of Luck as Sauro, blood-pumped dominion everywhere and expected to be raking in some diverse gems and income. ...

Re: Luck/Turmoil versus Nothing.

I hate Luck. Psychologically, if something good happens, you feel like you paid for it, and if something bad happens, it pisses you off since you spent the points to get those positive scales.

Re: LA Tien Chi: Barbarian Kings Strategy Guide 2.0

Interesting how nations can come and go in perceived strength / popularity. Probably somewhat correlated to patches/CB nerfs or boosts, but also just having more players try them out. As time goes...

Re: Experienced Dom player looking for a few subs

I'm guessing the problem with subbing for lch is he generally has a pretty small position. Not very exciting - I'd consider subbing if he had something larger to work with.

The Sad Saga of Sauro

I had never played Sauro before this game and had only played a couple times in the EA so I’d certainly do things differently knowing what I know now.

My original goal...
