You are correct; an editor that only uses notepad for all would have been nice. At least there is ‘SF Slot Modder’ to make things a little easier. But like making a mod, some one with the know how...

It sounds logic that if you double the speed of the game, all aspects of the game play from screen action, to AI execution it...

This is the corrected 'sounds' for Multiverse. Just place this 'Sounds' folder inside the campaign folder. Use it on all the Multiverse campaigns.

Yes, the music content goes into the main SF Music files. Multiverse Music 1, 2, and eventually 3 also goes inside the main music file just keep adding to the main SF music file.

The 'auto-firing version of the cannons' is a good idea for the rear cannons. Especially since beam weapons do not do friendly damage like torpedoes and ‘point defense cannons’ (which are 'bolts')....
