Before my colonies all started out with 4 million colonists. Now with a single cargo container added on (and I had the space to spare...

You don't need any cargo containers on a colony ship at all. It has a 'built in' capacity to carry 4 mil colonists (I think this comes with the colony...

I have been 'Retrofitting' my older ships. First you need a 'new-upgraded' design saved. Then move the old ship to a location with a space yard (it can still be building something else at the time...

Yep, using the "LOOK" command can NOT be stressed too much.

And don't think because you used it ONCE it is always enough. Even if that hidden Jerry is in clear LOS...it sometimes takes more than...
