Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

I will just point out that, yes, I do have both - I also don't have 1/3? 1/2? of the map, and we've both been clamming (Iyae for longer than me) so it's entirely possible that Korwin is still more...

Re: n00bs of DOOOOOOOOOM!!!! - FULL

I think you'll be surprised how much it doesn't. In my limited experience, while you can check how big someone is from the graph, where someone is, and what they are doing is just as relevant.

Yes.

You spelt my name wrong.

Anyway, my reasoning is 50 site frequence is fun, score graphs are essential to keeping track of what is happening around you, and provience trades are typically...

Re: n00bs of DOOOOOOOOM!!!! (New MP game for newbies)

Yes, there is only a limited window of post editing.

I am going

Oceania, Ryleh, Vanhiem - but I don't think the map is big enough for two water nations (I'm still trying to recover from a...

Re: n00bs of DOOOOOOOOM!!!! (New MP game for newbies)

Two water nations in 16 provinces is going to be cramped. Either way, I'm keen.

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

So Iyae has arcane nexus up. It might be a good idea to give me gems to dispel it? Certainly, he is extremely dangerous with a delicious combo of Arcane Nexus AND the steel ovens :)

Re: Clockwork Horrors vs. Golems

golems don't care about encumbrance ;)

A golem can easily cast the spell, so often the 4 pearls can be better spent.

Re: Clockwork Horrors vs. Golems

First up, cast personal luck as well as body ethereal: That will reduce the number of hits by 50% straight away. (ensuring that only 12% of attacks hit.)

Use an earth coin instead of the starshine...

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

So.. anyone want to buy the armor of virtue? It's not buggy at all and won't eat your commanders... if your capital is on the surface :D

It's actually pretty bling for a low HP thug relying on...

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

I'm not going to weep bitter tears if it doesn't get rolled back, so if there is serious opposition. Did anyone fight any big battles or anything?

If so, that would preclude a rollback proberly.

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

I just go badly burnt by a bug to do with ritual of returning, aquatic critters and UW capitals.

I'd like to request a rollback so I can do something that will result in me not losing a...

Re: New MP game-Metal on Metal (discussion+recruiting)

Don't add all the power nations - I mean MA ermor benefits hugely from having cranked up resources, but it's still not a good idea to add them to the game.

Niefel are about blessed supermen, not...

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

48 hours blow, because the turn keeps 'creeping' forward during the day.

Also, who wants to sell me water gems. I have nature gems going cheap?

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

It occurs to me re-reading the previous part of the thread that this might be a llamaserver error and not a game admin thing, in which case I generally indicate that I hope we go back to 27 hours...

Re: Cradle to the Grave--for noobies with a record of no staling--FULL

Llama server gives extra time for the first turn.. because it's the first turn and you don't know when random person X is going to submit their pretender and kick off the game.

It will go to 24...

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

I had to have a rage break. The most annoying part is that I thought it would return to it's home province, not to my capital hence the lack of WB gear.

I head-desk'ed pretty hard.

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

Nah, it was a **** up last turn because I didn't understand how something worked, and as a result broke a very expensive toy. Woe is me.

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)

But, if as you say you have no idea who is winning, maybe you should just start asking people. I'm happy to...
