Re: Dealing with Hydras

That's a bit of a poor test. What spell casters were backing up the Hydras?

Re: Fragrant Fluffy Things

The readme that comes with Worthy Heroes says you get a Golden Naga, but that's it. F4, pretty buff stats. I'd be pretty happy if I got it. Good luck on that.

Re: Fragrant Fluffy Things

Ok, ok, I don't think I'll be asking anyone to give away anything important when I ask this: has *anybody* gotten a decent hero from random events yet?

Re: Fragrant Fluffy Things

As far as I know, Worthy Heroes 1.8 is older than Bogarus, so there aren't any Bogarus heroes in it. I wouldn't call it a bug per-se. Should still be some Bogarus heroes in the base game, though.

Re: What does Arcoscephale mean?

Arco is a musical term you might know if you played the violin, but that seems rather obscure to me.

Re: is feeding acceptable or not

Your whole premise is flawed: feeding isn't a wild card. It's usually very predictable who will give their stuff to whom. If someone's going out, they will give their stuff to their allies and/or the...

"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

"I think so Brain, but where are we going to find a Tartarian our size?"

Re: Fragrant Fluffy Things

So far the votes are 10:1 against your poll. I do hope you get more votes, for your campaign's sake.

Re: is feeding acceptable or not

Nobody is saying there is loyalty. What there is, however, is a desire to spite your enemies, even from beyond the grave. How on earth is that unthematic?

Re: Global War (started!)

Should we find a sub for Mictlan? I'm on the verge of being taken out, and I don't particularly want to keep going. Or should I AI? I'm thinking it's down to 7v5 real quick. Neither Sauro nor I had a...

Evil appears to be on the verge of losing its first member. Why was good moaning, again? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Re: Stinky Slimy Things

You somehow imply that we are not striving for godhood in the real world. What a crazy world-view you have.

I feel Pythium's pain. I've had my fair share of barbarians early on, too.

I wonder that, too, IndyPendant. I must be on the wrong side of the map, cause I don't see any horrible mistakes on good's part.

Re: Stinky Slimy Things

I'm actually kinda tempted to hang it up right here. Diplomacy is ok, but being a total [censored] is another. I don't want to be involved in a game like this, sorry.

Re: Global War (started!)

It sounded like Foodstamp set up secret enemies purely randomly. If so, I suspect that one or two evils are next to a secret enemy and the others are not. At least, that's the impression I am under.

Re: Global War (started!)

Evil nations have definitely been a little gunshy, at least to begin. I wonder if that's because of the no communication, or if we happened to get more aggressive players on Good rather than Evil.

Re: New semi-newbie game!

Hm, I wonder if someone should suggest a fix to this for some future patch. An admin option that forces an AI nation to stall a turn.
