Re: Well CBM1.9 is nice, but why no buff for Fomoria??

What about a 600-pound gorilla-style diplomacy? 'Hello, I'm a 600-pound gorilla, and I wanna be your friend while I kick the hell out of your neighbours'. :)
These who play just for the sake of it...

Re: Well CBM1.9 is nice, but why no buff for Fomoria??

I beg to differ: top nations in the HoF do show the metagame.
When you (a vet) stomp some newbie, of course natons dont matter much, you're going to win. But when two equally players meet (which...

Re: Paralyze vs SoulSlay: MR mechanics?

Dont know about that, but charm and paralyze do indeed, in my experience, work better than soul slay and disintegrate.

Re: Well CBM1.9 is nice, but why no buff for Fomoria??

What things are better, in your opinion?

And dont forget to protect your capitol with domes, it's quite simple in CBM.
Some fomorian non-cap infantry is also decent, btw. Afflictions or not. I...

Re: Well CBM1.9 is nice, but why no buff for Fomoria??

It's all about multiplayer. It's quite different in multi than against the AI, obviously. Fomoria, while lacks a non-cap mage (occasional goat druid can spam frozen heart, but that's about it), has...

Re: Paralyze vs SoulSlay: MR mechanics?

I have a feeling that Soulslay doesnt change your status to 'dead', it deals 999 damage and thus is countered by luck half the time. Paralyze isn't, so paralyze works 2x times more often.

Re: Why are Tarts so cheap

Much less. You have a 20% chance to get *some* commander, who may as well be a feebleminded armess monstra. Meanwhile, you keep wasting mage-turns, probably 2 with some very expensive boosters.

Re: LA Game - World of Symmetry 7/10 left

I am all for it. Not that it's dull (quite a fair amount of fighting and some nasty plans for the future), but with CTis getting such a big chunk of a free cheese resistance is futile, we will be...

Re: LA Game - World of Symmetry 7/10 left

So, do we have a sub for Bogarus? If not, there's no point to play any longer.

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

OK. Call me shameless if you will, but being an arguable #1 pretender, I claim it as a victory for Abyssia.

I beg to differ.

Either give up or keep playing.

Eh... just closing this game is a bad idea. I'd prefer to keep playing.

Re: davanas

Mandehas are highly situational. They are absolutely great on paper, but in fact they are rather vulnerable; 100% weakness to fire is hard to counter. Mandeha is more of a support SC, if such a thing...

Re: davanas

If you gift of reason them, they get some magic. 1 in Blood and/or air most of the time. Not terribly useful since air boosters are so damn expensive, but still better than nothing.
What's better,...

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Executor, I know it's a very dramatic thing to do, but TC was fighting me as well. There are communions scripted for rain of stones on my way.
Too bad Corithian is leaving - quite an awesome TC...

Re: The best PD ?

LA Ermor has a good PD. Unbreakable, with longdead horsemen if you pay enough.
Of course, LA Ermor doesnt have much gold to buy it most of the time. But I dont understand how is LA Ermor buying PD...

I say set him to AI and plunder him. And gang on Ermor. All the while fighting our current wars. All at the same time. ^)

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

Once again, I think we should stop hosting it until a sub for TC (at least, kek) is found.

Re: Kings of Drama - Keeping up the proud tradition

The flames died, so I'm still here. TC is leaving, but he's dead anyway, so actually it's up to Oceania if he's really willing to crown Executor or to keep playing.
