Take a look at the attached final save for a scenario. I can't reconcile the vehicle losses for the Germans against what I see in the roster. The summary shows three AFV losses but the roster only...

A Small Nit

The basic Nationalist Chinese rifle squad, the one armed only with a rifle and grenades, when using a grenade, the visual shows a grenade explosion but the sound is of a SMG or LMG.

After more experimentation, it's apparently happening only to the Panzer Gren company shown in the screen print. I've tried quite a few others and they all work normally.

The Fix All and the battle preceding it were on v10. I upgraded from 9 to 10 between battles.

Battles 1 - 5 were all meeting engagements and were fought on v9. Battle 6 was a special AI advance...

I never ran into this in any previous version and have played many campaigns, so it seems like it's related to v10.

My campaign has progressed beyond that point and now everything is normal.

This was using a stock OOB. The blank review was for every unit, not just one or two. It was after doing a Fix All. I don't know if this will help but here's the save after the battle ended.

This is a generated campaign started under v9. It is after the fourth battle, which was a Special battle.

Never had this issue before v10.

Finished playing the battle. The sound situation is my vehicles have normal sounds. The AI's vehicles move silently but have sounds when they retreat.

I've attached the save files. PW is Billg1.

Look around especially in the SW portion of the map. No fighting in that area so no smoke.

The battle date is September, 1942.

More info: This was a special battle, an advance/delay with the AI doing the advance. The AI has all the tanks.

The tanks were first spotted either turn 3 or 4. They made their silent advance...

To be precise, there was no tank movement in the PBEM game. The infantry sounds were very low at a 50% volume setting. When I increased the volume then the combat sounds were very loud.
