Great idea Chris. I agree with taking them out and giving compensation. Would be great if there was a replacement earth booster though. I don't think giving alternate ways to create gems is the way...

A small note on the Smoulder Ghosts - they are useful, but don't waste empowering or a pretender on them. Abysia gets a few national heroes which have both fire and death, so if you want them Luck is...

i regularly use shrouds to keep diseased mages alive. Out of combat their hit points will stay constant, pretty sure they heal up fully during combat but would need to check to be 100% sure

Yeah the fatigue - the lowering of attack and defence at 5 fatigue is minimal, but it gives a slight chance of a critical and thus ignoring your protection

Definitely very unlucky, slight comments on risk assessment:

Am pretty sure failed attacks still reduce your defence.. so the chance of getting past your defence is very high for the later...
