Re: Unit Buffs Quick reference

Sorry! By "them" I was referring to the communion masters after running through their buffs.

Re: Unit Buffs Quick reference

I'm not sure about the rest, but I believe the reverse communion effect has to do with the order commander actions occur in - spells are cast before ANY commanders move regardless of unit ID order,...

Re: Summer Madness, a game of strategic exploration.

Thanks for the understanding attitude from everyone. My feelings on the subject haven't changed, but since someone else has at least one compelling reason not to roll-back and I could possibly lose...

Re: The Movement Bug: An Arguement Against MP?

Frozen Lama & Fantomen: I also read that report. Sorry, no scout of mine in the target province. Though I'm pretty sure at least one other player has an astral window on the target province - that's...

Re: Summer Madness, a game of strategic exploration.

I got hit with the movement bug while trying to invade Fomoria's capitol. I'm raising the question of a roll-back&force-host (no resubmission of turns) on the off chance it won't hit again. Frankly,...

The Movement Bug: An Arguement Against MP?

I've seen the "movement bug" before in SP... you know the one: you issue orders to move a commander or a group of commanders to attack an enemy province, you hit "End Turn", the turn processes, you...

Re: LA Glory (Recruitin')

I would dearly like to join as Jomon. How many players are you going to wait for?

Re: Event militia - who gets what?

I've only ever received Ronin when playing Jomon... I don't believe the earlier ages get them. Someone please let me know if I'm wrong.

Re: OT: Any reccomendations for good fanatasy books

I'll second the Prince of Nothing series by Bakker. A very interesting read, if a bit wordy.

Brandon Sanderson is suprisingly good... his plot-, character- and world-developement have exceeded my...

Re: NEWB Questions

Welcome to the community, Immaculate.

If you're looking for help with early expansion that doesn't rely on your pretender or a bless, here's a guide that may be of use to you:

Oops... misread ghoul31's "you" to refer to Baalz... that's what I get for posting before my coffee fix. Sorry.

Grats Raiel!

Also, I'd like to gratulate stattis for making a great come-back after I thought I had the lizards on their knees. Some nice battlemagic you had there when the going got tough...

Re: Who here is a Vet?

I definitely like the idea of a vet thread.

How will you account for continued skill developement? We can't all be the best, but it's conceivable that one day there will be few or no new players -...

Re: Aardwark - Running

O.K... that's a pretty good case, but I would have figured you to counter that by regularly teleporting in S2+StarshineCap mages, along with sneaking in whatever Astral Specter Mages you could get....

Re: Aardwark - Running

Oh, Oh!!! I think I stole some E4/5 mages from Agartha! :D (edit: E5 with boots, of course)

Re: Aardwark - Running

Frankly, I'm really surprised by this... I've only collected about 25% of the gems T'ien Ch'i has earned (plus a few from my random events). I only have a few more forts and provinces than you. My...

Re: Template for reducing late game MM hell

Seriously?!?

I'm beginning to see why it's so difficult to reach any real consensus on these forums... this game is so varied and complex that different players will enjoy the...

Re: Aardwark - Running

:) You had a few more mages within those walls than I expected.

My noobness is showing... even forgot to properly fortify Atlantis' capital against the off chance he'd Call Back his pretender...

Re: Looking for VS Opponent

I suggest that we use a 3rd party (vfb, maybe?) to whom we both submit nation selections. I'd prefer late era, but I'm willing to defer to Psycho's preference...

Re: Aardwark - Running

Huh... I'm not sure what happened to the delay, but in case the issue comes up: I am vehemently against a rollback - not least because it took many turns of dancing with Atlantis to create a position...

Re: Template for reducing late game MM hell

If it's true that removing gem-gen items cripples some nations, then the solution seems pretty simple: Give those nations gem-gen summons. What little I know of modding suggests that the mechanics...

Re: Noobs vs. Vets III: Revolution, MA, CBM. Game Over. Noobs Triumph!

Ah... and I finally got my hands on an Adon. I guess I should have deployed one of my Tartarians earlier, too, even if she was undergeared. :D

It was great fun. Thank you, Septimius! Thank you,...
