TDM 3.40 observations
I'm up to turn 60 in a sol match against 12
opponents all using TDM AI.
Rage, Terran, Tessellate, Jraenar, Narn etc.
I've checked out their progress and while they
seem to be exploring well...

In the settings file for some of the TDM races
I noticed that the max intel and research numbers
were fairly low - 200,000.
If we want to give the AI as much help as possible
why not set them...

and honerable.

I play on high diff/med bonus against selected
TDM AI's. I also only mine rock planets, I
found the game became too easy if I used Ice and
Gas planets.
I had turned the Max refit line to 75...

I try to play on hard/high bonus but unless I
disable fighters (and therefore I guess carriers)
I get overwhelmed very early.
Does anyone know if disabling fighters causes
the AI any problems?

In trying to find good AI's I ran a game for 50
turns and then examined each of the races.
Most had done very well but one had not built any
storage facilities despite having a 68k surplus...
