Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

Actually, i apologise to BG for calling him a know it all - nothing wrong with learning, so putting in the effort reaps rewards.

Thinking more about it, the beef is that the map stops us from...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

The point is, you have sat in your own personal lake amassed...

Re: Apotheosis (The game is online again!) [Send in your pretenders]

Finalgenesis, i pretty much read it as a counter to your spin - truth is irrelevant, all that really matters is how it looks to the punters...

Interesting session of banter however. Looking...

Re: Apotheosis (The game is online again!) [Send in your pretenders]

Indeed!

Hence my reasoning that Kakelake make the decisions. I'm all for scheming and manipulation, but in game - not in an attempt to skew the setup to your benefit. 10/10 for trying though FG!...

Re: Apotheosis (The game is online again!) [Send in your pretenders]

Actually, I think Kadelake should make the call - democracy is rubbish for getting things done.

Re: Apotheosis (The game is online again!) [Send in your pretenders]

Either of the water nations will rush the other resulting in a nice inaccessible domain for the winner. If you think a land nation is going to be gearing up for an initial assault into the water you...

Re: Apotheosis (The game is online again!) [Send in your pretenders]

Yes, but look at the map - there are vast areas of wasteland and low pop provinces.

Anyway, what land nation is going into the water early? The water nations get it all to themselves. The land...

Re: Apotheosis (The game is online again!) [Send in your pretenders]

i think 11 players is a fair number for this map and gives a decent opportunity of everyone getting a reasonable start... so my vote would say full - sorry SplendidTuesday

Re: Apotheosis (CBM game for newish players) [Recruiting]

Perhaps - but i'm up to summer year 3 in a trial run and the turns are already taking ages mearly moving bones to the front lines.

As much as i love the idea of Ermor, they are just too much work!

Re: Apotheosis (CBM game for newish players) [Recruiting]

Just to be a final pain in the bum Kadelake, can i swap to Jotunheim please? - I can see that shuttling hoards of undead around gets old quick with Ermor...

Re: Apotheosis (CBM game for newish players) [Recruiting]

Ah yes skewed results Verjigorm... the reason Ashdod doesnt feature on those wins there is becasue the general deal is that Ashdod is banned - can't win if it doesn't play.

I think you will find ...

Re: Apotheosis (CBM game for newish players) [Recruiting]

Call me a spoil sport Verjigorm, but i vote for a ban on Ashdod. It really just is the most overpowered of all the nations.

Re: Apotheosis (vanilla game for newish players) [Recruiting]

Having said that, is there any possibility of considering CBM? it just seems that the majority of the MP games are played with it and well, it would be nice to start learning the CBM game seeing as...

Re: STACKERS, newbie game, (started)

I agree - Embargo on the fish!

As for Ermor, it has no territory left only sieged castles. Turning them to AI now won't be an issue.
