my first research goal would be Frighten. you can use those little 1d mages to spam that.

I was decimated with a similar tactic in Perpetuality game. I was really suprised by how effective it was.

Have you ever played a dual bless? If done right its much better than an awake pretender IMHO.

This is really a bug of some sort. She had a helm and a sheild. the battle replay shows her losing an arm, which explains the shield (after the battle she has both arms, she has recouperation), but...

its easy, download it, unzip it and copy it to "mods" folder under dominions 3. If you dont have a mods folder, create one.

You can turn mods on and off under prefernces in the dom main screen.

Thats right, a stray lightning bolt struck an unprotected commander who was protected with Pheonix Pyre, which caused her to explode, which caused her neigbor to explode, and so on, killing about 20...
