Fire arrows will be very, very effective vs. neifel giants, if my guess is right. Especially when combined with destruction.

It doesn't just hit your mage. It can also hit commanders you may have in the targeted province. Like I said, it hit a unit that was beseiging the castle I was trying to target.

This game appears to be more or less over. Ermor went AI two turns ago, and lost around 1800 troops last turn, and many more mages, in assaults on my invading armies which have been cracking forts...

I believe that shinuyuma gets an immortal, non undead pretender that has some combat potential, though not to the degree that the cyclops does. (44 base HP, starting pathes are death and fire)
