Thanks, and you're right. It is just so frustrating because I have sent numerous emails about fundamental things and there is no evidence that the emails are even read, much less considered.

Has migration been fixed to allow complete migration and undoming of a planet? I remember previously planets would stay domed until player intervention got rid of the non-breathers.

The most common I've seen is damage/(turn * kt).
In unmodded SE4, there are only a few weapons that have bonuses so that isn't normally used.
Throwing range in there would kinda work too but...

Don't expect to change your opinion. The demo hasn't had the latest bug fixes as the full game, but the things that make the game unfun haven't changed.
