I do know that the ammo selection algorithm has changed. I keep old versions of the game, Ive played whitmans senario in v6 of the game maybe 30 times now and he hasnt fired a HEAT round yet,...

By all means pull the Italian 12 inch gun, but there -are- relevant (ie large) targets for it to hit in the OOBs,
the British OOB for example has these vessels

The French Maginot line turrets can't turn in-game. In reality they could traverse 360 degrees. One rotating turret type is also missing which contains the 25mm AT gun.

One thing you might check with your friend, Tigers didnt appear in North Africa until the Turnisian Pocket formed so wernt avilbale for assaults on Tobruck.

Thanks very much for the info. The first "maybe", unit 501 CV-35 [37] is actually a production vehicle that was never produced rather than a field conversion.
