I love making Juggernauts, Gift of Reasoning them, then giving them the Ark and sending them in solo. They crush all in their path!

Can't you? What about LA Ermor? Or is that tied to temples or something? I played a quick game as them and I had 3000 undead in my capital by turn 30, without any priests reanimating or similar....

They are able to fire, but it'll be insanely bad accuracy. Precision 100 spells will still hit though, which is think Mind Burn is?
