Has anybody received it yet?

I hope this forum will light up after people start playing the full Version.

I will be releasing a free download of a network game matching program for Space HoRSE, and a species editor. Keep your...

Re: Is it me?

Only species graphics will be moddable. I will be working on a more user friendly Version of my species file creator program so that other artists may create their own species. However, the stats and...

Re: Is it me?

Here is a players' guide, complete with screen shots:
http://www.eidolons-inn.de/mule/muleguid.htm

I also found a review of M.U.L.E. from 1989 which explains it very well. However, the review...

Re: Windtalkers

I saw Windtalkers on opening day... I am a fan of WWII, John Woo movies and Nick Cage, so I couldn't pass it up.

Overall, the movie was entertaining, and didn't waste time on a useless love story...

Re: controls...

Using the mouse has no advantage over other players. It doesn't speed up the rate at which the player travels. It is really just a preference of which device you like playing with. Personally, I...

Re: controls...

Not a bad idea to allow different input options for your turn and the market. However, since the game is so close to being finished already, that idea will likely not get implemented.

On the...

Re: Game Idea For Shrapnel

I just tried the demo for a game called "SuperPower". It's very impressive, and may be very close to what Atrocities is seeking. For me, though, there is too much micro-management.

Oh yeah, for...

Space HoRSE WILL support network play!

Yes, it is true! Using TCP/IP, you and up to three of your friends can compete either on a LAN, or over the internet. Of course, you can also still play multiplayer on a single PC as well.

Re: Game Idea For Shrapnel

Atrocities,

I have also dreamed of such a game, and have considered making it myself. As a matter of fact, I once did on my Amiga years ago, but it was all text-based. But the ideas were all...

Re: Demo Not Working :-(

Your system must have a video and sound card, even if they are integrated. In that case, it is probably a very old video card and may not be compatible with Space HoRSE. Please find out how much RAM...

Re: Oh Microsoft bought the hype on this game

Although I agree that the camera control can be a pain in any 3D game, I have to disagree with Atrocities' overall conclusion. Dungeon Siege does everything right on the interface. If you want to...

Re: Mule I mean space horse rocks

I'm glad you like the demo. The full Version WILL have more species and random events, like Zirconium Pirates, warehouse fires, etc.

The only modding that will be available will be new species...

Re: Demo Not Working :-(

This is the first time I've heard of the screen jumping side to side. The only thing I can suggest right now is to check for newer drivers for the video card. I've found that new video drivers...

Re: Great Idea!

Yes, but nothing published. Years ago I made a couple small games on the Amiga, and before that I made things on my Atari 800XL.

Re: Great Idea!

Your points are all true. However, if we reconsidered, the only other option right now would be to wait up to another year before seeing the game at all. In the meantime, you save $10 compared to the...

Re: Great Idea!

Yes, multiple input devices. You can choose mouse, keyboard, or joystick/gamepad.

Unfortunately, network play isn't supported.

Re: Great Idea!

This seems to be a common thought among many people. What many people don't remember is that LOTS of games are inspired and modeled on games that were previously successful. Just look at all the...
