Agreed, but I think you could make a fairly strong case for reducing Allied air force anti armour effects and increasing Naval gun fire effects.

One of the things that I think gets overlooked is how very powerful Allied Naval gunfire was in Normandy in 1944.

A 15inch naval gun could fire at ranges up to almost 22 miles -ie, twice as far...

As someone who is interested in things Naval. In WWII British destroyers more than once engaged German Tanks over open sites, and a 4.5 or 4.7inch armour piecing shell was sure to ruin a Panzer crews...

Lol. My apologies, I'm not into very minor TO and E errors, only noticed it during a very small scale 1945 scenario. Very much prefer the brilliant stuff you are doing on maps.

Have to say I generally put up the artillery values (in prefrences) across the game. 150% in WWII games and 175% in modern games.

Remember Artillery was the number one cause of casualties in both...

I would still say don't bother. The Baltics are not defensible by NATO, in conventional terms, as of now.

What is more they could only be, perhaps, defensible if all Western European NATO nations...

In theory woman can now join the British Infantry but I don't think any have, as actual fighting soldiers. They are not allowed to join the Paras (I believe) and they are excluded from the Royal...
