If I remember rightly SE IV doesn't use a hosted pbem, players pass from one to the next?

Stars! and Dominions 2 work very well on pbem because you send your turns to a host who then gens the...

I set my defense between 10 and 20, still new to this game and haven't quite got the hang of defense, it seems for a relatively low outlay you get a set number of defenders until they are routed.

I read somewhere, I think it was on the gonegold forums, that you could set your autohost to send an email via batch file when it hosted. That way your players got an email whenever a turn had been...

Just purchased the game, really looking forward to some good pbem games (used to be a Stars! player) it seems a long time since I played a good multiplayer pbem.
