Hi Loktar, you are right indeed. France are generally smart enough not to send 19 year old conscripts to die in some gritty guerrila overseas. There were more units than para and legion in Indochina...

I know the Street without joy ones, they give a good picture of the grittyness and attrittion of Indochine (The French lost more troops here...

Well, the (in)famous Danish Batallion in Bosnia-Herzegovina that thrashed the local serbs good and well actually incorporated a Swedish unit (company I think), it was part of that that the tanks went...
