SE4 (and earlier) was probably pirated massively long before the deluxe(!) version. I seem to recall a Q&A with Aaron where he said as much.

Space Rangers 2!!

2D turn based space combat/trading with optional 3D RTS, arcade and old school text adventures-ish. In the UK and US (I think) it's just sold as Space Rangers and comes on a DVD...
