Space,

Shield points are the amount of incomming fire a component can stop. Damage resistance is the amount of damage a component can take before it is destroyed. 2 different things.

Comm channels allow the AI to talk to races they haven't contacted as of yet. Allows you to trade without having to worry about being attacked since they don't know where you are.

Uh I know this will start a discussion but I think everyone has the wrong idea about the weapon mounts. I think they are not bigger weapons but same sized weapons grouped together and having linked...

OK here it is, you have to remember that there is 2 "phases" to a turn in combat. Each player has a phase each. PDC can only fire once per turn not phase. So what I guess is happening is that the PDC...
