I guess I am missing something but what is the advantage of network capability in a game like this? it is turn based not real time. If you have network connection you should have e-mail ability too....

There will be an option to have all the players start with the same planets. Also weighing in on the Gas Gaint issue, I find that it balances out since you have to stop building...
