For warp point creation you could name it something like
'Warp Point Seed' and say it flings a super dense seed that rips through time and space to make a warp point.

Yes, it does work in Simultaneous games. In fact the replay is still going since I used my example weapon up there and it only does 5 damage a hit...

A weapon that has the possibility to destroy a ship in one round of combat is great in my opinion. It only reasons it should have a draw back. Think of it as an all or nothing type of weapon.

Everyone won't be pirates. It's set up so that there are 2 normal players. The rest of the players will be vying for resources. whichever pirate player has the most resources at the end of the game...

Alneyan is correct. The reason I was trying to do it in a simultaneous game is I am going to be playing in a PBW game here at some point in time, and I'm trying to refine my tactics.
